Telehealth in the emergency department (ED) aspires to improve the quality of health care for patients in remote and other settings by increasing access to specialists and optimizing health service utilization and disposition coordination, including timely access to definitive care [2].
These interim principles provide minimum standards for telehealth practice in the ED.
