New Impact Factor for JMIR is now 3.9 (2009)

[This post is outdated. For more recent Impact Factors released in 2011 see here]

The new JMIR Impact Factor for 2009 (released in June 2010 by Thomson Reuters Journal Citation Reports) has further increased to 3.9. JMIR remains among the top ranked journals in the health informatics category (tied with JAMIA, which has a virtually identical Impact Factor), and remains the #2 journal in the health sciences & health services research category (the #1 journal is a review journal, so JMIR is the top health services research journal publishing original research in that category). Thank you to all authors, reviewers and editors for helping us to maintain our status as the leading journal in our fields !
