However, their studies focused on text-dominated social media exclusively, with little attention paid to emerging social media platforms. For example, Tik Tok, which launched in 2016, is a video-sharing platform that allows users to create, upload, repost, and write comments on short videos, ranging from a few seconds to minutes.
