Dear participant,

I am inviting you to take part in this anonymous survey to let me know what you find important when it comes to reviewing of mobile health applications. The results of this survey will be used for the development and evaluation of a peer-review tool for mobile health apps. Just like other journals and newspapers publish book reviews, we want to publish "app reviews" evaluated by experts, published in a new open access journal called JMIR mHealth and uHealth (JMU, mhealth.jmir.org) and Pubmed Indexed, available for available for consumers and other interested parties. The peer-reviews could then be used as decision enhancers by consumers when choosing medical or health apps or function as input for further scientific research of (e.g. usability tests, RCTs).

The questionnaire will consist of different parts. The time it will take to fill out this questionnaire depends on your answers and takes approximately 10-15 minutes. Progress is shown in a progress bar at the bottom of each page. Please note that it is not possible to save this survey intermittently. If you want to make changes during the survey you can use the "back" and "continue" buttons to navigate between the different pages.

The research and development of the review tool is part of a Masters Thesis in Medical informatics.
