ISI/SCI Impact Factors 2007: JMIR remains on top

Open Access Journal Remains on Top of Its Discipline - Second Year in a Row - Impact Factor (3.0) now almost equal with JAMIA (3.1)

On June 20th, 2008, ISI/SCI released their 2007 Journal Impact Factors. With an outstanding impact factor of 3.0 JMIR has again held its position as a close second (out of 20 journals) in the medical informatics category, almost equal with the leading journal in that category, the Journal of the American Medical Informatics Association JAMIA (3.1). JMIR also continues to be ranked #6 in the health care sciences & services category (out of 57 leading journals), tied with the reputable journal Health Affairs.
